The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development has awarded $189,423 to the City of Arlington Housing Authority's Family Self-Sufficiency Program.

This renewal funding will help households on the Housing Choice Voucher program with assistance to increase their earned income and reduce their dependency on public assistance and rental subsidies.

The Housing Authority collaborates with social service agencies, colleges, businesses, and other local partners to help families further their education, gain marketable skills, and increase their income potential through new employment or by advancing in their career.
