1. Lone Star NYE Live! at Texas Live!

Welcome the new year at one of the biggest parties in Texas. Texas Live!, in Arlington's Entertainment District, is hosting its annual Lone Star NYE party. There will be multiple DJs, live music, confetti cash cannons, a ball drop and champagne toast. Tickets start at $80 and are available at the link above. 

2. PY1 Experience 

The PY1 Experience opens on New Year's Eve with something for the entire family. The large pyramid outside Globe Life Park features incredible light and sound shows inside. The afternoon shows are family-friendly. The PY1 Nights event is for adults 21 and older. Click the link above for ticket information. 

3. 4th Anniversary Party at Division Brewing

New Year's Eve just so happens to be Division Brewing's 4th anniversary. The beermaker is hosting a party at its Downtown Arlington taproom to celebrate. The party includes live music, tacos, and of course, locally-brewed beer. The doors open at 4 p.m. You'll get four beers and a souvenir glass for $25. 

4. Candlelight Yoga at Arlington Yoga Center

Leave 2019 with a moment of zen. Arlington Yoga Center is hosting a candlelight class Tuesday evening at 5:30 p.m. Tickets are $15. 

5. Holiday in the Park at Six Flags Over Texas 

Christmas has come and gone, but Six Flags Over Texas is still celebrating the holidays. The park is open from New Year's Eve through Jan. 5, from 12 p.m. until 8 p.m. daily. 

6. Radical Reptiles at River Legacy Living Science Center

Make the most of this winter break with a learning lesson and craft project. River Legacy Living Science Center is hosting "Radical Reptiles" Friday at 11:30 a.m, 1:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. Registration is $2 per person. 

7. Art Stories at the Downtown Library

The Arlington Public Library is partnering with the Arlington Museum of Art Saturday afternoon to introduce families to their new exhibit, Albrecht Durer: Master Prints. Library staff will read short books to help children connect to the artist and the time they lived. After the stories, there will be a craft for kids to replicate the printmaking form Durer worked with. Then, all families are invited to a free tour of the new exhibit across the street at the museum. The event begins at 1 p.m. 

8. Rush More - A Tribute to Rush at Arlington Music Hall

Enjoy the sounds of one of the biggest bands of all time. Arlington Music Hall is hosting a tribute to Rush Saturday night at 8 p.m. Tickets start at $12.50.

9. Pink Floyd Experience at UTA Planetarium

Experience Pink Floyd's classic album "Dark Side of the Moon" inside the UTA Planetarium Saturday evening. The experience includes surround sound and CG effects. Tickets are available at the link above. 

10. UTA Lady Mavs vs. Little Rock

Start 2020 with some incredible athletes. The UTA Lady Mavs are hosting Little Rock Saturday at 2 p.m. at College Park Center. Tickets start at $6.
