Mayor's Holiday Luncheon for Seniors

Thank you to Spring Creek Barbecue for once again supporting the Mayor’s Holiday Luncheon.

About 200 seniors participated in the 20th annual luncheon, which was held Wednesday at the City of Arlington’s Eunice Activity Center and organized by Arlington Parks & Recreation in partnership with Spring Creek Barbecue.

In addition to a visit from Santa, entertainment was provided by the Arlington High School Jazz Band and the Arlington High and Arlington Martin Choraliers.

Spring Creek Barbecue, which has its headquarters in Arlington and is celebrating 40 years in business, is a proud supporter of students and organizations across The American Dream City and Texas. Over the past decade, the company has donated $2.5 million to $3 million a year in the Texas communities where its 44 Spring Creek Barbecue and Mexican Inn Café restaurants are located, Owner Chris Carroll said.

“Arlington is a great community,” Carroll said. “Everyone has been wonderful to us.”
