Entertainment District Parking

Arlington Police Department will activate the Entertainment District Parking Ordinance in the Woodbrook Zone, the Stadium West Zones and the Roosevelt Zones for Dallas Cowboys home games at AT&T Stadium, including this Sunday, Dec. 15.

What is the Entertainment District Parking Ordinance?

In 2018, the Arlington City Council adopted an Entertainment District Parking Ordinance to protect neighborhoods near AT&T Stadium from nuisances that stem from special event guests who park on neighborhood streets instead of in designated paid parking lots.

During Dallas Cowboys’ home games and other marquee events, on-street parking will not be permitted temporarily in three residential areas, identified as Woodbrook Zone, Roosevelt Zones and Stadium West Zones A & B, near AT&T Stadium. The Arlington Police Department will flip open folded No Parking signs in these zones 24 hours prior to a special event. The City plans to begin enforcement, at a minimum, three hours before the stadium event is under way.

On-street parking will resume in these zones when the No Parking signs are flipped down and no longer visible.

What are the boundaries of the three zones?

Woodbrook Zone: This area is north of AT&T Stadium and is roughly bounded by Road to Six Flags Street to the north, Willowbrook Street to the east, Woodbrook Street to the south and Collins Street to the west.

Stadium West Zones: This area is directly west of AT&T Stadium and is roughly bounded by Slaughter Street to the north, Collins Street to the east, North Street to the south and Mesquite Street to the west.

Roosevelt Zones: This area is northwest of AT&T Stadium and is roughly bounded by Andrews Street to the north, Collins Street to the east, Randol Mill Road to the south and Mesquite Street to the west.

Residents who live in the designated zones are encouraged to visit the Arlington Police Department website at www.arlingtontx.gov/police for event times and dates when the Entertainment District Parking Ordinance is in effect.
