UTA Spotlight: Lady Movin' Mavs Basketball Player Advocates for Adaptive Sports

Greetings from The American Dream City! Be sure to tune into the newest installment of UTA Spotlight, a weekly news update featuring broadcasting students reporting on events, projects, announcements and other key news and happenings on the University of Texas at Arlington campus and around Arlington.

This week’s stories include:

  • Student Annabelle Lindsay, a member of the Lady Movin' Mavs basketball team, is an advocate for adaptive sports.
  • Students turn to massage therapy on campus to find relief from pain and stress.
  • Japanese Culture Society hosted a pop-up cafe that offered Anime, dancing and coffee served by staff in cosplay.

Segments run every week during the semester on Arlington’s cable channel, Spectrum Channel 16 and AT&T U-Verse channel 99.
