1. 2019 Esports Awards 

The biggest names in gaming are headed to The American Dream City Saturday night. Esports Stadium Arlington is hosting the 2019 Esports Awards. This is the first time the ceremony has ever been held in the United States. Tickets are $25 and are available at the link above. 

2. Create Studio: For Families

If you're feeling crafty, head to the George W. Hawkes Downtown Library Friday. The Library is opening its Create Studio. The room is full of recycled materials just waiting to be transformed. The event is free and runs from 4 p.m. until 5:30. 

3. Winter Wine Walk at Texas Live!

Red, white or both. It's your call Saturday afternoon at the 2nd Annual Winter Wine Walk at Texas Live!. Each ticket comes with six tastings and one glass. You'll also get a souvenir glass to take home. Tickets start at $45 and are available at the link above. 

4. Nelly at Texas Live!

One of music's biggest names will be performing at Texas Live! Friday night. Nelly takes the stage at 8 p.m. Tickets start at $25 and are available at the link above. 

5. Brunch and Yoga

Start your weekend with a moment of zen and a delicious meal. Arlington Yoga Center has partnered with the Sanford House for Brunch & Yoga. You'll enjoy class in the Inn's courtyard before heading inside for a free mimosa and discounted brunch. Tickets are $15 and available at the link above. 

6. Don McLean at Arlington Music Hall

He gave the world one of the most iconic songs ever performed. And now, you can see Don McLean live at Arlington Music Hall. The "American Pie" singer takes the stage Saturday at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are available at the link above, starting at $19. 

7. Mumentous at Arlington Museum of Art

Mums are a true Texas tradition. But the homecoming staple has evolved and grown over time. "Mumentous" looks at the evolution of the mum and includes some amazing examples and personal stories. The Museum is open from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday and from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. Sunday. 

8. Cowboys Watch Party

The Cowboys are on the road this weekend to face Detroit. But you can still enjoy the game with some of the best fans around. Texas Live! is hosting a watch party on a 100-foot screen. The party starts two hours before kickoff, at 10 a.m.  

9. National Novel Writing Month Workshop

November is National Novel Writing Month, and Arlington Public Library wants to help you write the next great masterpiece. The Downtown branch is hosting a "Designing the Bad Guy" writers' workshop Saturday at 10:30 a.m. Come learn, and bring your work to share with other writers. 

10. Gene Allen's Christmas Open House 

Christmas starts early at Gene Allen's. The gift shop is hosting its annual Open House Sunday from noon until 5 p.m. at all three locations. It's your chance to grab exclusive discounts and a picture with Santa. Click the link above for Santa's schedule.
