Greetings from The American Dream City! Be sure to tune into the newest installment of UTA Spotlight, a weekly news update featuring broadcasting students reporting on events, projects, announcements and other key news and happenings on the University of Texas at Arlington campus and around Arlington.

This week’s stories include:

  • Students donned their pajamas and ate breakfast for dinner at a Trap Brinner event hosted by the UT Arlington Chapter of the National Association of Colored Women's Clubs and Women of Gold.
  • Students in the German Program and the Department of Modern Languages built a model of the Berlin Wall in honor of the 30th anniversary of the fall of the wall.
  • With orange and blue ribbons, beads and other decor, students showed off their Maverick Pride and crafted mums to celebrate UTA Homecoming Week.

Segments run every week during the semester on Arlington’s cable channel, Spectrum Channel 16 and AT&T U-Verse channel 99.
