Dog of the Week – Meet Ark

This eleven and half month old male Black Mouth Cur mix is tan in color and weighs 65 pounds. Ark is a young dog that likes to display his energy. He enjoys playing with toys and sporadically will return the item to you when playing fetch. Walking well on a leash is one of his traits. He enjoys being rewarded with being petted. This breed of dog is not usually aggressive so they tend to work well with other dogs. A loving family that enjoys spending time outside and including their furry companion would probably be a good fit for Ark. Meet Ark in Dog Adoptions (DA) 12, his ID number is 43114198.

Cat of the Week – Meet Mimi

This three month old female Domestic Shorthair is a black, red and white Calico. Need an active, lovable kitten as a furry companion? Then Mimi is a good choice. This youngster never seems to stop purring and loves to be petted and held. She exhibits the usual kitten tendencies-kneading, purring, rolling on her back and playful activity. She loves to snuggle in a blanket while being petted and will give a short “meow” when she feels you’re neglecting her. Mimi is looking for a new “purrever” home where she can grow up in a safe, loving environment. Come to the shelter and hear this kitten say, “pick Me-Me”. Meet Mimi in Cat Adoptions (CA) 25, her ID number is 43139398.

Adoption fees include all core vaccinations, alteration, microchip and 30 days free pet insurance.
