UTA Spotlight: Students Kick Off Basketball Season at Mav Madness Event

Be sure to tune into the newest installment of UTA Spotlight, a weekly news update featuring broadcasting students reporting on events, projects, announcements and other key news and happenings on the University of Texas at Arlington campus and around Arlington.

This week’s stories include:

  • UTA graduate students are researching how to prevent Scleractinian Coral Tissue Loss Disease, which is negatively affecting coral reefs in some parts of the world.
  • Mav Madness helps kick off basketball season and introduces the campus to the coaches and players.
  • UTA EXCEL Campus Activities recently held a Spotlight Series event that allowed students to perform live.
