1. Spooky Swamp

Hugh Smith Indoor Pool is transforming into a spooky swamp Friday night. Grab a swimsuit and dive in. The pool and recreation center will be decked out with family-friendly frights. Admission is $2.50 per person. The pool is open from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.

2. Superhero Run for CASA of Tarrant County

Be a true hero this weekend for children who have been abused or neglected. CASA of Tarrant County is hosting its annual Superhero Run Saturday morning at the Levitt Pavilion in Downtown Arlington. You can register through race day morning.  

3. Night at the Movies: "Coco"

Arlington Parks and Recreation is celebrating Día de los Muertos Saturday night with a showing of Disney/Pixar's "Coco." The movie will be shown at Cliff Nelson Recreation Center starting at 6 p.m. Admission is $5 and includes a seat and popcorn. Click the link above to purchase tickets.  

4. Terror at Texas Live!

Texas Live! is hosting one of the area's largest Halloween parties Saturday night. More than $6,000 in prizes will be up for grabs in a costume contest, so make sure you go all out. Tickets are $5 ahead of time or $10 at the door. The party starts at 8 p.m.  

5. Fright Fest at Six Flags Over Texas

The scares continue all weekend at Six Flags Over Texas, in Arlington's Entertainment District. The park has added several new acts and terrifying sights this year. Click the link above for hours and ticket prices. 

6. Mahaloween at 4 Kahunas

Head to 4 Kahunas Tiki Lounge Saturday for a truly unique take on Halloween. The lounge is hosting a "Mahaloween" party starting at 8 p.m. There will be dancing, tropical drinks and a costume contest. Admission is free.

7. Halloween at the Y

Celebrate Halloween with the Cooper Street YMCA Saturday night, starting at 6 p.m. Kids can trunk-or-treat, walk a haunted trail, play Halloween-themed games and more. Admission is free. The party runs until 9 p.m. 

8. DFW Dog Walk of the Dead: Zombie 5K

Put your canine companion to the test as you work to outrun zombies! Several animal nonprofits have teamed up for Saturday's "DFW Dog Walk of the Dead: Zombie 5K." You'll be running with zombies chasing close behind. The race starts at 5 p.m. at Texas Live! Then stick around for an after-party at the finish line. 

9. Donuts and Drafts at Legal Draft Beer Co.

Legal Draft Beer Co., in Downtown's Urban Union, has a truly amazing pairing available Sunday. What's better than donuts and drafts? You'll get a box of five mini donuts and a flight of five beers for $18. Click the link above for tickets. 

10. Ray Price Tribute

Head to Arlington Music Hall Saturday afternoon for a tribute to music icon Ray Price. Many of the musicians in the band played with Price himself. The show starts at 2 p.m. Tickets start at $12.
