After what felt like an endless summer, fall is finally here. And there are plenty of great ways to celebrate in your hometown. From annual traditions at Six Flags to a campout at Veterans Park, it's a to-do list you won't mind tackling.

✅ Celebrate fall

River Legacy's Fall Festival returns Oct. 12 and 13. You'll enjoy all kinds of fun activities including a trip to the pumpkin patch, storytelling under the stars and more. Tickets are available now at the link above. 

✅ Take the family camping

Now that things are cooling off, enjoy a night under the stars. Arlington Parks & Recreation is hosting its Family Fun Campout at Veterans Park. There will be plenty of activities plus "tent or treating." Click the link above to register. 

✅ Enjoy art Downtown

The South Street Art Festival returns to Downtown Arlington Oct. 11-13. Shop for unique pieces while enjoying live music and delicious food. Admission is free. 

✅ Get a scare at Six Flags

Fright Fest is back at Arlington's Six Flags Over Texas. You'll find all kinds of new scares this year. The festival runs through Nov. 3.
