Dream Builders is a show on MyArlingtonTV highlighting the ways our community helps kids dream big, nurture their creativity, polish their skills and develop the tools they need to achieve their American Dream as young adults.

The latest Dream Builders episode takes us to Green Oaks School, a Christian school for children with Down syndrome and similar intellectual disabilities.

Love Engemann says she and the Green Oaks staff focus on building authentic relationships with the students, which helps learning flourish.

"Our students often have the same dreams other students have," said Leigh Weedman, Director of Education. "They want to grow up and work and do different things."

With help from the team at Green Oaks School, those dreams are becoming reality.
