Dog of the Week – Meet Sissy

Sissy is our chosen dog of the week. Sissy is our chosen dog of the week. This three year old female pointer, retriever mix is black and white in color and weighs 58 pounds. Sissy is a very gentle dog that has become a favorite with the shelter volunteers. She knows the commands of sit and lie down and she walks well on a leash. Playing fetch is pretty successful with Sissy as she will return the toy. Attention, in the form of stroking anywhere on her body, makes Sissy a happy dog. A family who will provide this dog with exercise opportunities and reward her with love and attention would be tops on her list. Meet Sissy in Dog Adoptions (DA) 18, his ID number is A42550876.

Cat of the Week – Meet LeeLoo

LeeLoo is our chosen cat of the week. This one year old female domestic shorthair is a brown, black and red torbie. Leeloo is a somewhat shy cat at first encounter but she will warm up to you. She likes to be petted on the neck and cheeks and will respond with a soft purr. She doesn’t seem to be as interested in playing with toys but prefers being the center of attention. A low growl was her reaction to seeing the dogs in the windows at the shelter so she might do best as the only animal in a household. LeeLoo is eager for a new quieter “purrever” home. Meet LeeLoo in Cat Adoptions (CA) 18, her ID number is A42623050.

Adoption fees include all core vaccinations, alteration, microchip and 30 days free pet insurance.
