Dog of the Week – Meet Strider

This five year old male, American Pit Bull Terrier, Blue Heeler mix is white and red in color and weighs 58 pounds. Strider could be described as a bouncy dog who likes to play with stuffed animals. When returning a toy to you he has a distinctive “prance” that he does. He walks well on a leash and appreciates it when you pay attention to him. He likes ear rubs and being petted on his hindquarters. An active family willing to share their love with a new furry companion would probably be a good fit for Strider. Meet Strider in Dog Adoptions (DA) 1, his ID number is 42517087.

Cat of the Week – Meet Juno

This three year old female Domestic Shorthair is black and white in color. Do you know where to adopt your next feline furry companion? Come to Arlington Animal Services. Though her name, Juno, means “queen of heaven”, this Juno is just wanting to be adopted so she can be “queen of her castle”. She is content to sit in your lap while being petted and will show her contentment by kneading. Her activity level increases and she demonstrates her agility when presented with a feather as a diversion. Every once in a while Juno will seemingly try to converse with you. Come adopt Juno as your new “purrfect” companion. Meet Juno in Cat Adoptions (CA) 32, her ID number is 42369569.

Adoption fees include all core vaccinations, alteration, microchip and 30 days free pet insurance.
