1. Teen Fortnite Competition

Put your Fortnite skills to the test Saturday at the George W. Hawkes Downtown Library. The library is hosting a battle royale for children between 12 and 17 years old, from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. Registration is free at the link above. 

2. Discount Pool Days

Arlington Parks and Recreation is offering half-off admission to any City pool if you donate a school supply. Mission Arlington says backpacks, pencils, crayons, folders and spiral notebooks are most needed. One discount is available per donated item. 

3. RED Art Exhibit at Arlington Museum of Art

A new exhibit is now open at Arlington Museum of Art. RED features work from local artists inspired by the HIV/AIDS movement. The exhibit is part of the larger Keith Haring exhibit, currently on display. 

4. Tails & Ales at Legal Draft Beer Co.

Cool off with a cold drink while helping a great cause. The SPCA of Texas is hosting Tails & Ales Saturday at Legal Draft Beer Co. in Downtown's Urban Union. Stop by between noon and 4 p.m. A portion of the beer sales benefits the SPCA. There will also be adoptable foster animals at the event. 

5. Hearthstone: Saviors of Uldum Tournament

Come play one of the year's biggest games at one of the best venues. Esports Stadium Arlington is hosting a Saviors of Uldum tournament Friday night. The event begins at 7 p.m.

6. Night Hike: All About Bats 

Spend time outdoors this weekend at River Legacy Living Science Center. You'll meet some bats then go exploring to find them in nature. The event begins at 7:30 p.m. Children must be at least 12 years old to participate. 

7. Fireworks Friday at Globe Life Park

Watch the Rangers take on the Detroit Tigers Friday night. Then stick around for a free fireworks show. 

8. Faith & Family Night with the Wings

Join Arlington's WNBA team Saturday for Faith & Family Night at College Park Center. The team faces the Las Vegas Aces. Make sure to stick around for a post-game concert. 

9. Sheryl Underwood at Arlington Improv

You know her from "The Talk." Now see Sheryl Underwood live in Arlington. The comedian is performing this weekend at Arlington Improv. 

10. Back in Black at Texas Live!

Enjoy a free tribute to AC/DC Friday at Texas Live! Back in Black will perform all the hits in the Live! Arena. Admission is free.
