Make a splash in your local community by donating a new school supply item and get half price admission at any Arlington Aquatics outdoor pool from Monday, July 29 to Sunday, Aug. 11.

The Arlington Parks and Recreation Department sets out collection buckets at each of the City’s six outdoor pools to collect supplies for Mission Arlington.

The Parks Department’s school supply drive is in its ninth year and has made a positive impact for families in need, said Erin Ward, Aquatics Program Coordinator.

“It is our honor and privilege to help our patrons give back to their own community,” Ward said. One pool admission discount is available per donated item.

Mission Arlington has identified items it is specifically looking for, such as:

  • Backpacks
  • Spiral Notebooks
  • Folders with Brads &Pockets
  • Box of #2 Pencils
  • 24 count Crayons

You can make a difference in the lives of our students by providing basic supplies needed when starting school!
