AARP Tax-Aide Offered at Arlington Public Library Locations

The chill in the air and changing of the calendar not only indicate the New Year, they indicate a new tax season, and the Arlington Public Library will once again host AARP Tax-Aide at its branches across the city, February 1 through April 16. Appointments are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

A volunteer-based program, AARP Foundation Tax-Aide has been providing free tax preparation assistance to low and moderate-income taxpayers since 1968. Membership in AARP is not required for assistance.

Locations, dates, and times for AARP Tax-Aide at the library are as follows:

East Arlington Branch Mondays, Wednesday, Fridays 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Lake Arlington Branch Tuesdays 10 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
Northeast Branch Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays 10 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. (Saturdays)
Southeast Branch Wednesdays 1 - 4:30 p.m.
Southwest Branch Wednesdays 1 - 5 p.m.
Woodland West Branch Thursdays 1 - 5 p.m.
