Abram and Mesquite Intersection Reopening Delayed

Reopening Delayed

Downtown Arlington road closures and detours are expected to continue through next week related to work on the new 101 Center mixed-use development project.

Temporary closures of sections of Mesquite, Center and Abram streets near City Hall and the City of Arlington Municipal Office Tower began April 20 and were expected to be complete by Monday, May 22. The Center and Abram streets intersection reopened Friday, May 19 but the Mesquite and Abram streets intersection is expected to remain closed until Friday, May 26.

Abram and Mesquite Street Update

This closure will continue to impact employees working in Downtown Arlington as well as visitors to downtown and the City's Municipal Office Building and City Hall. It will also impact those coming to the City's Municipal Court for jury duty, court or to pay a fine.
