Looking for a fun and purr-fectly good family night out as you support your local animal shelter? The Arlington Animal Services (AAS) Center has the ticket.

The first Movie Night was held at AAS on February 24, with the feature show All Dogs Go to Heaven, made possible by sponsor Gully Animal Hospital.

To set the mood, big new comfy animal bed cushions provided by Petmate® were used as seating to enjoy the show along with traditional seating if desired. For the program kick-off, a special invitation was extended to the residents of The Arlington Life Shelter.

The group shared popcorn, Rice Krispy Treats and drinks. Once the movie started everyone found a place to settle, giggle, and enjoy the movie.

Special thanks to community partners Gully Animal Hospital, Petmate®, and Leroy Brown with Respect A Bull, Inc. for the surprise visit at the end of the show. Thank you AAS volunteers that helped prior to, during and after the show.

The next show will be Lady and the Tramp showing on Friday, March 30 at 6:30 p.m.

First come, first serve for the first 30 tickets to individuals that express an interest in attending that provide a monetary donation for the animal shelter prior to the event. Donations received for Movie Night help fund animal shelter education programs.
