Linh Nguyen is the visual arts coordinator for Arlington ISD schools, where he continues to positively influence the lives of students by teaching innovation and creative thinking through exploration and production of visual art.

His family left Vietnam for the United States in 1975 after the Fall of Saigon when Linh was just two-years-old. He lived in Dallas as a child and attended The University of Texas at Arlington for his post-secondary education.

Linh Nguyen and his wife Jennifer, who teaches at Arlington High School, currently reside in The American Dream City with their three children.

Nguyen also helps coordinate and organize AISD Youth Art Month, which opens to the public on March 9, 2016. Each spring, the Arlington Museum of Art works collaboratively with the Arlington Independent School District to give students the opportunity to display their pieces done in a wide variety of mediums to the general public.
