Alabama Defeats Michigan State in CFP Semifinal Game

Alabama is headed to the College Football Playoff National Championship game after defeating Michigan State in the 80th Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, 38-0.

The game's attendance of 82,812 is the second largest turnout for the College Football Playoff Semifinal, the 4th highest attendance in Cotton Bowl history and the 6th largest crowd at AT&T Stadium.

Alabama will face Clemson in the CFP National Championship game in Glendale, Arizona on Monday, January 11, 2016.

Thousands of Michigan State and Alabama fans flocked to AT&T Stadium and tailgates in Arlington's Entertainment District before the game. You can watch MyArlingtonTV's video story by clicking here.

This is the second straight season that Arlington has been on the national stage in the College Football Playoff. The American Dream City also hosted the first-ever College Football Playoff National Championship at AT&T Stadium on January 12, 2015.
