Martin High School to Film Schoolwide Lip Dub and Raise funds for MD Anderson Cancer Center

Who/What: More than 3,300 students and nearly 300 faculty members at Martin High School will participate in Lip Dub 2012 in order to come together as a school and help a Martin student diagnosed with a rare form of cancer. Students have sold pledges to individuals, organizations and businesses for one penny (or more) per YouTube view the lip dub receives; the funds raised will be donated to MD Anderson Cancer Center.

When/Where: Monday, Nov. 19. Filming will take place throughout the building beginning at 10:40 a.m. Please arrive by 10 a.m. Martin High School, 4501 W. Pleasant Ridge.

Background: This is Martin's second schoolwide lip dub. The first, filmed in 2010, received more than 160,000 views on YouTube.
