Single, white and tan female Pit Bull Mix seeking a forever home with a family who loves long walks, giving " belly rubs" and spending time together. If your family meets this description, please rush down to Arlington Animal Services and meet " Darla" , our chosen Dog of the Week. This special little girl was found as a stray and brought to the shelter to be cared for until her owners came. Unfortunately they never found her, so now she is available for adoption and looking for a forever home! A beautiful young female, Darla is estimated to be approximately one year old, and she is a medium size dog weighing 45 pounds. Sweet as can be, Miss Darla has quickly become a volunteer favorite. Darla loves treats, seems to be dog friendly and is motivated to learn. Being a young dog, Darla is still learning her manners; however, she knows " sit" and is very treat motivated. She walks well on a leash, is gentle taking treats, and is willing to please. Pit Bull breeds tend to have lots of energy, are intelligent and family oriented. Darla would do best with a family that has a yard with room to play, and she would like to continue her training to help her grow into the intelligent young lady she is destined to be! Do you think Darla would be a perfect match for your family? If so, come down and meet her today! She is located in kennel DA20, ID number 20202551. Her adorable smile and gentle, playful personality is sure to win your heart! Darla' s adoption fees include all core vaccinations, spay, microchip and 30 days of free pet insurance.
