"Ask Arlington" is a show dedicated to answering the questions you have about what's happening in our city.

Each week, on the City's social media pages, we'll let you know what the topic of the "Ask Arlington" episode will be. All you have to do is post your question and we'll do our best to get it answered during our show.

This week's show features Darwin Wade, Grants Coordinator with the City of Arlington's Community Development and Planning Department and an organizer for the second annual City of Arlington Homeownership Fair.

The Homeownership Fair is scheduled from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, June 24 at the Arlington Convention Center, 1200 Ballpark Way.

This event will offer informational sessions on topics such as mortgage lending, foreclosure prevention, affordable housing programs, weatherization, energy savings, insurance, city home repair programs and more. Residents will have the opportunity to interact one-on-one with exhibitors from mortgage lenders, real estate agents, housing specialists, and city personnel.

Lunch will be provided on a first-come, first-serve basis and attendees are encouraged register online in order to win door prizes. Activities will be available for children ages 6 and up.
