Hatch Chile Festival at Downtown Arlington Farmers Market

Royals vs. Rangers

It's been a rough season for your Texas Rangers, but the team is in the position to play the spoiler role. This weekend, the Rangers welcome the division-leading Kansas City Royals to Globe Life Park for a three-game series. The first 15,000 fans that attend Friday night's game will receive a replica Nolan Ryan jersey. Sunday's game will feature rollback prices from 1994 ($9 for Upper Reserved tickets or $18 for Lexus Club Terrace tickets. Ballpark nachos, jumbo hot dogs and 24 oz. sodas will be offered at 1994 prices as well. That's a great deal. Prices vary according to seating.

Theatre Arlington Presents: The Nerd

Have you had a chance to catch "The Nerd," one of the funniest plays ever written? This play features Willum Cubbert inviting Rick Steadman (someone who saved Willum's life, but whom Willum has never met) to stay with him. When Rick arrives, Willum realizes Rick is a hopeless "nerd". The longer Rick stays, the more things lead to one uproarious incident after another, until Willum finds himself contemplating violence. Friday & Saturday performances are at 8 p.m.; Sunday's show begins at 2 p.m. Tickets are $10.
