Earlier this year, the Arlington City Council formed the Citizens' Bond Committee (CBC), a group of 19 citizens who are charged with reviewing and recommending projects to city council members for a potential November 2014 bond election. The (CBC) is asking the public for its input as it continues to prioritize projects for a proposed bond election in November 2014. The meeting is scheduled for April 15 at 6 p.m.in the Council Briefing Room on the third floor of City Hall.

During the public meeting, citizens will have a chance to understand the bond election process and provide input on potential bond projects to the CBC. The CBC will be meeting weekly throughout April and May to learn about proposed projects and make recommendations on which projects should move forward to City Council for approval to put on the ballot.

The last bond approved by Arlington voters was in 2008. The 2008 package included streets, parks, park facilities, library and fire projects.
