 Annual Cardboard Boat Regatta Makes a Splash Saturday

River Legacy Living Science Center will be closed Saturday, April 23 for River Legacy's 27th annual Cardboard Boat Regatta at Six Flags Hurricane Harbor.

Admission tickets can still be purchased in advance for $6 at the Science Center, 703 N.W. Green Oaks Blvd., until 4 p.m., Friday, April 22. Tickets will be $8 per person ages 3 and up at the gate.

The Cardboard Boat Regatta includes cardboard boat races, splash time at Hook's Lagoon, Spikeball & Horseshoes play; spins on the Tornado, Surge & Twister; Children's Area with a Mini-Boat Regatta; Whale Sail for fabulous prizes and more.

Hurricane Harbor season passes are not a valid admission since Hurricane Harbor is closed for the season and only Regatta activities will be available.

In case of rain cancellation, River Legacy Living Science Center asks guests to consider their registration fees and advance ticket and food purchases to be a donation. No refunds will be given.
