 Keep Arlington Beautiful

The Keep Arlington Beautiful Board is excited to have the Texas Rangers Women's Club as a participant of the Adopt-A-Spot Program in Arlington. With their commitment and enthusiasm, they will be excellent ambassadors for Keep Arlington Beautiful.

The Texas Rangers Women's Club was organized in 1974 under the direction of Phil Jason, a member or the Texas Ranger Baseball organization. In July 1974, General Manager, Billy Martin and The Rangers sponsored a picnic for the players and for any women interested in the organization. By October, Texas Rangers Women's Club held it charter meeting. TRWC has grown to 197 members and over 180 of those ladies are still active in the group.

The mission for TRWC is to generate enthusiasm and help the Texas Rangers with promoting their team. They also serve as "helping hands" in arranging for special groups to come and enjoy the Texas Ranger's baseball games. Many youngsters, senior citizens, Military members, athletes, and other groups have been able to experience the excitement of being at the games because of these ladies helping hands. Wherever there is fun and entertainment going on at the stadium, it is very likely that TRWC is right in the middle of making it happen.

Looking forward to continuing beautification and education in Arlington!
