‘SpeakUp Arlington’

The City of Arlington has added a new discussion topic to its new online engagement website, "SpeakUp Arlington," to collect more ideas and opinions from residents. The discussion, which focuses on resources at the new Central Library, is available until March 31.

Since its inception in December 2014, SpeakUp Arlington has made it easier for the public to communicate feedback and receive information from the City of Arlington.

In the discussion, the Arlington Public Library asks what residents would like to see in the teen area of the new Central Library, which is currently in the design phase.

To weigh in on a discussion, visit http://speakuparlington.com/forums.

Here 's how it works: first, visit www.SpeakUpArlington.com and sign up for an account either with your email or by connecting with Facebook. Next, post your comment or read feedback from other citizens.

When you register, you will be asked for your address so we can match you to future discussion topics on your neighborhood.

Other social media tools are also available for residents to use to stay connected to the city, including Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, Flickr and Pinterest, all of which can be found at www.arlingtontx.gov.
