Voters Return Three Council Incumbents, Elect New At-Large Representative

Arlington voters re-elected three incumbent City Council members and elected a new representative to fill the open District 7 seat that Councilmember Jimmy Bennett decided not to seek re-election for in the May 7 election.

Victoria Farrar-Myers won the at-large District 7 seat with 73.19 percent of the vote, according to unofficial voting totals. Her challenger, Chris "Dobi" Dobson, won 26.81 percent of the vote.

District 1 Councilman Charlie Parker won 69.41 percent of the vote over his challenger Kelly Canon, according to unofficial voting totals.

District 2 Councilwoman Sheri Capehart and at-large District 6 Councilman Robert Shepard were unopposed.
