Ossiel Maldonado, a senior for the Lamar High School boy's soccer team, has been selected as the City of Arlington's Student-Athlete of the Month for March.
He currently carries a 3.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale, with math being Ossiel's favorite subject.
According to his head coach, many of his teammates go to Ossiel for advice on the field and in the classroom, which is why he is the unquestioned leader of the team.
