More than 20 Greenfield Senior Living residents recently spent an entertaining hour of fun and games with Sam Houston High School National Honor Society students and Arlington Public Library staff members.

The program demonstrated that you are never too old to learn new things, as the residents taught each other how to play games like Skip-Bo and UNO. The card games brought back memories of Jacks, marbles, hopscotch, sack races and Old Maid. One student performed a skit with a library staff member about what to do for entertainment when the electricity goes out.

All of the senior resident participants enjoyed an entertaining hokey pokey dance, interacting with the high school students, and sharing and learning from each other.
