Cat of the Week - Meet Carlos

This one and half year old male Domestic Shorthair is dressed in his black and white tuxedo. In the shelter condo, Carlos tends to hide from view, but upon visiting with him his personality really comes out. He loves attention! He has a very loud, almost constant, purr and he kneads on the floor as he walks. Head bumping is also included. He has a distinctive white stripe down his nose, a white tipped tail and four white socks. His white whiskers are also a stand out. Adoption of Carlos would afford him his forever "spring break" from the shelter. Meet Carlos in Cat Condo (CC) 2; his ID number is 37978415.

Dog of the Week - Meet Sheba

This five year old female Rottweiler mix is black and tan in color and weighs 98 pounds. Sheba is a large, friendly laid back dog looking for a new "fur-ever" home. She seems like a big teddy bear and really enjoys being petted. Not particularly active, she probably would benefit from some moderate exercise and playtime. Recognizing the command of "sit" and walking well on a leash are some of Sheba's strong points. An adoption by a new pet guardian with a large heart (and yard!) is on Sheba's wish list. Meet Sheba in Dog Adoptions (DA) 14; her ID number is 38029149.

Adoption fees include all core vaccinations, alteration, microchip and 30 days free pet insurance.
