1. St. Patrick's Day Events in Arlington

Saturday, March 17, 2018 is St. Patrick's Day in The American Dream City and the Arlington Convention and Visitors Bureau website has a number of events for residents to check out and celebrate! Boomerjack's Bar & Grill, Kool Keg, The Melting Pot, J. Gilligan's, J.R. Bentley's, Hooligans, Division Brewing, Legal Draft Beer Co. and many other restaurants/venues have events planned in Arlington this year. Downtown Arlington also has St. Patrick's Day events listed on their website.

2. Meet the Easter Bunny at The Parks at Arlington Mall

From now until March 31, Arlington families can bring the Easter Bunny and the kids together for the perfect photo opportunity at the lower level near Dick's Sporting Goods. Please remember to reserve your place before you go to avoid waiting in line.

3. "Rhythm Revival: #tapisback" at Arlington Music Hall

Rhythmic Souls Tap Company is bringing the best of tap dancing to the stage with their new upcoming show, "Rhythm Revival: #tapisback" at Arlington Music Hall this Friday night at 7:30 p.m. Along with their special guest, Emmy nominated choreographer, Anthony Morigerato, they will be paying homage to historical tap dance legends of the past, and showcasing new & exciting original works of choreography. 4. Wanda Jackson & The Derailers at Arlington Music Hall

Wanda Lavonne Jackson is an American singer, songwriter, pianist and guitarist who had success in the mid-1950s and 1960s as one of the first popular female rockabilly singers and a pioneering rock-and-roll artist. In 2009, she was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as an Early Influence. Wanda Jackson & The Derailers will take the Arlington Music Hall stage at 7:30 p.m. this Saturday, March 17, 2018. 5. Live Music at Grease Monkey Burger Shop & Social Club

Head over to Grease Monkey Burger Shop & Social Club in Downtown Arlington for two nights of live music this weekend. On Friday night, James Cuevas performs at 9 p.m. On Saturday night, residents and visitors can expect to hear some of the greatest hits in both R&B and Motown from Legacy 4. That show also starts at 9 p.m. Grease Monkey is located at 200 N Mesquite St, Arlington, TX 76011.

6. Spring Break at Six Flags Over Texas

Six Flags Over Texas, the Thrill Capital of Texas, continues its 57th season in The American Dream City. The park will open this weekend for guests to enjoy their favorite coasters and attractions, while preparations continue for the late spring debut of the ultimate Super-Villain thrill ride-HARLEY QUINN Spinsanity. The park's operating hours are from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. both Friday and Saturday and 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Sunday. 7. 57 Sauce at J.R. Bentley's

57 Sauce, a hometown band that started up in 2012, is set to perform at 8 p.m. this Friday, March 16 at J.R. Bentley's in Downtown. The group plays a wide variety of songs in the genres of Funk, Rock and Reggae. Situated in a historic home, J.R. Bentley's has the feel of an authentic English pub and features several local and area bands throughout the year. The venue will also host its St. Patrick's Day Bash on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. on Sunday. J.R. Bentley's is located at 406 W Abram St, Arlington, TX 76010. 8. Bikes & Coffee at Urban Alchemy

Urban Alchemy Coffee + Wine Bar will be hosting Third Shift Moto's Saturday Mornings Bikes & Coffee from 9 a.m. to noon this Saturday, March 17. The vintage motorcycle shop specializes in vintage Japanese Motorcycles. The shop also provides service options for maintenance, troubleshooting, restorations and custom builds. 9. Wieuca and Hall Johnson at Truth Vinyl

Residents and visitors are invited to check out Wieuca and Hall Johnson this Friday, March 16 at Truth Vinyl in Downtown Arlington from 8-11 p.m. The show will cost $7 and is open to all age groups. 10. Main Street Antique Junk Fest

Love antique furniture, hand-crafted jewelry and one-of-a-kind home décor? You'll find all of that and more on Saturday, March 17, 2018 at the Main Street Antique Junk Fest in Downtown Arlington. The outdoor flea market-style event, which will feature about a dozen vendors with antique, vintage, vintage-inspired or handmade wares, is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the back lot of Collected Treasures, 406 W. Main Street.

11. Donuts & Drafts at Legal Draft Beer Co.

FunkyTown Donuts is back at Legal Draft Beer Co. this Sunday, March 18, to pair their handcrafted donuts with a flight of Legal Draft brews! Get a box of 5 mini donuts and our beer flight (five 5oz pours) for $15. There will be two time slots available (1-3 p.m. and 3-5 p.m.) to pick up your donuts.
