Iranian-born Mojy Haddad, president and founder of CHS Architects in Arlington, is proud to call Arlington home.

It is where he lives his dream as a registered architect and leader of one of the most acclaimed architectural firms in the region. An avid traveler, Haddad's designs are inspired by his love for Italian architecture. Just take a look at The Vandergriff Town Center and Cooper Street Market in Arlington, as well as The Village at Mansfield and Beach Street Market in Fort Worth.

After moving to Arlington in 1972, Haddad attended UT Arlington, earning a bachelor's degree in architecture and two master's degrees-one in architecture and the other in city and regional planning. Haddad, a long-time supporter of UT Arlington, has seen three of his children graduate from the school, while a fourth scheduled to being very soon.

Haddad sat down with us to talk about living his American Dream and helping others do the same.
