Major Road Construction Project’s Completion Celebrated

The City of Arlington is pleased to announce the completion of a significant road project designed to rebuild and repair streets and sewer in various areas.

According to the project engineer, the 2012 Residential Rebuilds Project cost nearly $3.1 million. Construction began February 2014 and was completed in June 2015 and is tied to City Council's "Enhance Regional Mobility" priority.

Here's a list of the roads and sewer lines that were improved in this project.

Concrete Street Rebuild, Water and Sanitary Sewer Line Renewal

  • Bradford Drive (Sherry Street to Kent Drive)
  • Pamela Lane (SH360 to Plaza Street)
  • Hollandale Circle (SH360 to Hardy Place)

Asphalt Reclamation Rebuild, Water and Sanitary Sewer Line Renewal

  • Park Springs Court (Park Springs Blvd to Cul-de-Sac)
  • San Rafael Drive (Spanish Trail to San Ramon Drive)
  • San Ramon Drive (Park Springs Blvd to Dead End)
  • San Ramon Court (San Ramon Dr to Cul-de-Sac)

Ponding Rehabilitation

  • 6700 block of Waterlilly Drive
  • Penny Royal Court (various locations)

This project, which is part of the 2008 bond, is one of 16 major public works and water utility upgrade projects totaling as much as $80 million scheduled to roll out over a two-year period.
