The Arlington Police Department is pleased to announce that Bob Flores has been named Volunteer of the Month for May 2015..

Bob Flores has been a volunteer with the East District Criminal Investigations Unit for two years. Known for showing up with breakfast tacos to surprise the staff, Bob consistently brings energy and a warm smile to the department. Bob always shows up to his volunteer assignments willing to help the East Police District in any way needed.

According to his colleagues, Bob is an extremely dedicated volunteer and possesses an abundance of experience from his career as a federal corrections officer.

Detectives often ask Bob to assist in phone calls with citizens who only speak Spanish. Because of this, Bob is able to obtain facts that would have been difficult to collect because of the language barrier. The detectives of ECID are very appreciative of Bob and his knowledge of criminal investigations.

Not only is Bob diligent and hardworking, he is kind to everyone he meets. Starting everyday with a smile, Bob is a friendly face to everyone in the department.

The Arlington Police Department is extremely fortunate to have you as a member of the Volunteer in Policing Program.
