Brush off your umbrella and enjoy some hot glühwein in the German-inspired village of the Texas Christkindl Market. As always, this week visitors will have an opportunity to see new musical performances, special activities and events.

Visitors can enter to win a $1,000 shopping spree at the indoor Arlington Highlands Warming Hut while enjoying hot cocoa and sweet strudel or creamy spaetzle by the fireplace.

Friday, Dec. 2 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
The Dallas String Quartet will be making an appearance tonight to brighten the night with some classic tunes as well as original compositions at their free concert.
Santa Haus will resume with their extended weekend hours, giving all children a unique opportunity to visit St. Nick in his own workshop. Photo packages are available for purchase on site.
Saturday, Dec. 3 from Noon to 9 p.m.
Come to the Christkindl Market this Saturday where guests will enjoy a full day of activities from accordion musicians to classic Bavarian dancing.
Sunday, Dec. 4 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
UTA Jazz students will perform from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. in several different arrangements. At 6 p.m. the Texas Treble Makers will take the stage to finish out the night.
Tuesday, Dec. 6 from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.
J.B. Little Elementary choir will perform classic holiday tunes.
Wednesday, Dec. 7 at 7 p.m.
The Children's Lantern Parade remains one of the market's most popular activities. Children will enjoy a stroll with the Christkindl Angel in search of "the giving man." Each child is given a souvenir lantern to light their way and parents will receive a photo of their child walking with the Christkindl angel. The $25 registration includes the souvenir lantern and keepsake photo.
