GM Financial’s $35 Million Expansion

Last month, General Motors Financial announced the completion of a new addition to its Arlington Operations Center. The $35 million investment is the Company"s fourth office location in The American Dream City, and will house 1,300 employees working in core functions such as loan services, customer experience, re-marketing solutions and human resources.

404 Border Apartments in Downtown Arlington also held a ribbon cutting ceremony on October 27, 2016. Strategically located at the corner of Border and Mary, 404 Border provides walk-ability to Downtown Arlington and close proximity to the Entertainment District.

In other important economic news for Arlington, voters approved the proposition for the Rangers Ballpark Project during the November 8, 2016 Special Election.

The Texas Rangers have launched RangersNewBallpark.com, a new website designed to gather public feedback for the new ballpark that will be built in Arlington.

Fans are encouraged to provide their suggestions and ideas for what they would like to see in the new facility, which is expected to open in time for the start of the 2020 season.
