MyArlingtonTV is taking a trip across The American Dream City to showcase some of the diverse musical acts happening in Arlington"s schools, restaurants, churches and neighborhoods.

Hosted by Tika Cook, "Backstage Arlington" highlights some of the different music acts and performing venues that exist in Arlington. The newest episode features the German arts and culture available at the 6th annual Texas Christkindl Market. The market is adjacent to Globe Life Park, Road to Six Flags and Nolan Ryan Expressway.

Shows will include local school choirs and dance groups performing traditional American and German holiday carols and traditional German dances.

One of the newest attractions is the Arctic Blast Tubing Run, an amazing tubing attraction with a 200-foot-long track that replicates a tube ride in the snow.

The Texas Christkindl Market runs through Dec. 23 and is open noon to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday and noon to 7 p.m. on Sunday. For more information, visit txchristkindlmarket.com.
