A new sports bar is coming to AT&T Stadium in Arlington, with a menu designed by a highly rated chef.

The Stadium Club, slated for a fall 2016 opening, will feature dishes created by chef Anthony Van Camp, formerly of Ser at the Hilton Anatole and a nominee for Rising Star Chef in the 2015 CultureMap Tastemaker Awards.

A release describes the restaurant-bar, which will be open for lunch and dinner, as a combination of ''first-class dining '' and a comfortable sports bar where you can dine ''before or after touring the building. '' Subtle plug for the stadium tour there.

''The Stadium Club is a creative, playful, and forward-thinking take on the ever-popular sports bar, '' Van Camp says in a release. ''The heart of the kitchen is our wood-fired grill and pizza oven. The menu will highlight classic fare with a sophisticated touch and a focus on local and seasonal ingredients, all while remaining true to our Texas roots. ''

Cowboys COO Stephen Jones says it will represent the ultimate Dallas Cowboys dining experience. ''The Stadium Club will not only provide a great dining experience, but it will also offer a game-day atmosphere that can only be captured at the stadium, every day of the week. ''

Located just inside the stadium ''s main entrance, Entrance A, next to the Cowboys Pro Shop, the restaurant is huge: 19,000 square feet with a capacity for 650 guests. There ''ll be a seamless video wall surrounding each bar, a video wall behind the host stand, and 20 flat screens throughout the restaurant. Videos as far as the eye can see.

As an added perk, game-day dining memberships offer an exclusive dining experience to season ticket holders and suite holders during Dallas Cowboys home games.

The Stadium Club was built in response to requests from fans for an upscale and up-to-date version of its Texas Stadium predecessor as an AT&T Stadium gathering place.
