Cup Knockout Round

The Confederation of North, Central America and Caribbean Association Football (CONCACAF) has announced that AT&T Stadium in Arlington is among 14 venues that will welcome the 2017 edition of the CONCACAF Gold Cup next July 7-26.

AT&T Stadium, home of the Dallas Cowboys, will host a Knockout Round game date, with schedule and further details to be announced next year. Venues and group stage dates, as well as group assignments for the seeded nations the United States and Mexico were also announced for next year's 14th edition of the Gold Cup.

For the upcoming edition of the Gold Cup, CONCACAF has taken steps to expand the tournament to emerging soccer markets, allowing more fans across the country to take part in the continental championship first-hand. The 2017 Gold Cup will feature four first-time hosts. Returning in 2017 are nine previous Gold Cup host venues, including AT&T Stadium.

AT&T Stadium has hosted the confederation's championship tournament in three previous editions, including the quarterfinals in 2009, the 2011 tournament kick-off and the 2013 semifinals, all of which welcomed more than 80,000 fans to each event.

"AT&T Stadium has proven to be a great destination for soccer events this caliber, and we are honored to host the Gold Cup in our building once more," said Dallas Cowboys Chief Operating Officer Stephen Jones. -The passionate soccer fans of North Texas will again provide a great atmosphere for the 2017 Gold Cup inside AT&T Stadium."
