A 12-year-old from Arlington realizes his dream of playing baseball on the national stage.

Arlington's own Trevor Packan was selected to play for the USSSA All-American 12U baseball team this week (August 2-7) for the 2015 USSSA All-American Games in Orlando, Florida.

Trevor is one of just 15 kids selected from the Midwest to be on the roster and is the son of Gary Packan, the Assistant Director of Arlington Parks and Recreation Department.

Trevor was a member of the Midwest team. They were the runner-up in the tournament, after dropping the Championship game 10-6 to the Atlantic team today, August 7, 2015.

Trevor hit a three-run home run in the bottom of the 5th to take the lead, but the team wasn't able to hold on for the win.

The game was played at Champion Stadium, a 9,500 seat baseball stadium located at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in the Walt Disney World Resort.
