New Filtration System to Help

A new filtration system set to be installed at the Bad Königshofen pool early next week is expected to help with water clarity issues at the popular swimming location.

Due to a steady increase in pool attendance, the Bad Königshofen pool has struggled with water clarity issues. In order to ensure the pool stayed within safety, health, and city standards, Arlington Aquatics had to set a daily admission limit summer 2016.

Arlington Aquatics worked with Sunbelt Pools to find a long-term solution.

"This Defender filter looks to be the solution for our clarity problem," Arlington Aquatics Manager Maria Campbellsaid.

The Defender filter is a regenerative media filter capable of filtering down to 1 micron. The addition of this filter will increase pool filtration and improve pool clarity.

The City of Arlington Aquatics works hard to maintain a clean, safe, and fun environment for all.
