2017 Texas Rangers Fan Fest

2017 Texas Rangers Fan Fest Presented by AT&T will take place at Globe Life Park in Arlington this Saturday, January 21 from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. 2017 Fan Fest Presented by AT&T will feature autograph sessions with current Texas Rangers players and coaches with individuals signing in the Capital One Club, Hyundai Club, Jack Daniel's Club, and Texas Rangers Hall of Fame (3rd floor). Admission to the 2017 Texas Rangers Fan Fest Presented by AT&T is $10.00 for adults, $8.00 for season ticket holders, and $5.00 for children 13 and under. UTA Men's & Women's Basketball at College Park Center

Both the UTA Men's and Women's Basketball teams square off against the University of Louisiana at Monroe at College Park Center this Saturday, January 21, 2017 in Downtown. The Lady Mavs (11-4, 4-1 in Sun Belt Conference) tip-off is at 2 p.m. CT followed by the Men's Basketball team (13-5, 3-2 in Sun Belt Conference) at 4:30 p.m. CT. Tickets are still available for this game and upcoming games at Both games will be available to stream live on ESPN3. UTA women's basketball returns to College Park Center for the first time in 2017 when it hosts Louisiana tonight, Jan. 19, at 7 p.m. The UTA men's basketball team is coming off an 89-83 victory over South Alabama Monday, Jan. 16 at Mitchell Arena.

Spring Shows at UTA Planetarium

UTA Planetarium has announced its spring schedule of shows through May 28, 2017. This lineup includes Phantom of the Universe, a new planetarium show that unveils scientists' efforts to explore Dark Matter. The show focuses on the Large Hadron Collider, the gigantic underground particle detector which is being used to explore the inner workings of the matter. Dark Matter is invisible and we only know of its existence due to its gravitational effect. It is believed that 85 percent of the matter in the universe is Dark Matter. Pablo Picasso: Ceramics Exhibit at Arlington Museum of Art

The Arlington Museum of Art in Downtown proudly announces its winter blockbuster exhibit, Pablo Picasso: Ceramics, featuring more than 40 ceramics by renowned artist Pablo Picasso. The exhibit will be on display from November 12, 2016 through February 12, 2017. An opening reception for exhibit sponsors, museum members, and special guests will be held Friday, November 11, 2016 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. For more information, visit Admission tickets may be purchased at the door. The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged) at Theatre Arlington

All 37 plays in 97 minutes! Three madcap men in tights weave their wicked way through all of Shakespeare's comedies, histories, and tragedies in one wild ride that will leave you breathless and helpless with laughter. This irreverent, fast-paced romp through the Bard's plays was London's longest-running comedy. The show opened on Friday, January 13, 2017 at Theatre Arlington in Downtown and runs through January 29, 2017. Performances take place on Thursday at 7:30 pm; Friday & Saturday at 8:00 pm; Sunday at 2:00 pm.
