Congratulations to members of the Arlington Storm Wrestling Club, which recently competed and placed in the AAU Junior Olympic Games in Houston.
Arlington Storm Coach Henry Harmoney said 19 wrestlers participated in dual and individual wrestling matches. The club, which includes students from Arlington High, Sam Houston High and area schools, was one of 16 wrestling teams from across the country to participate. The Arlington Storm placed 9th overall in the team competition and several members took home individual awards, Harmoney said.
'It was a great experience,' Harmoney said.
Other coaches for the wrestlers include Kevin Schmitt, Andy Harmoney and Roy Zamora.
