Mia Farrow, Daymond John Open 2015-16 UTA Maverick Speakers Series

Award-winning actress and humanitarian Mia Farrow opens UT Arlington's 2015-2016 Maverick Speakers Series on Oct. 8 for a season that also includes entrepreneur and investor Daymond John, political leaders and a famed animal behavior researcher.

Former Congressman and leading Libertarian Ron Paul, political strategist and commentator Donna Brazile and primatologist Jane Goodall complete the lineup. Now in its eighth season, the Maverick Speaker Series features perse voices leading thought-provoking conversations for the university community.

New this year, Maverick Speakers Series patrons are invited to purchase a season ticket package that includes two tickets to each of the five Maverick Speaker Series events at a cost of $250, a discount of $50 off preferred seating prices. The deadline to purchase season tickets utatickets.com is Sept. 30. Other ticket options include:
  • Preferred Package: The preferred package offers greater access and is available for $30 a ticket. The preferred package includes reserved entrance to the lecture facility to avoid long lines, reserved seating near the front of the venue, reserved parking near the front of the venue (one parking permit per purchase), and front-of-the-line access to book signings when offered. Preferred packages can be purchased at utatickets.com.
  • V.I.P. Package: V.I.P. ticket holders are offered select benefits including preferred packages access and entry to an exclusive reception with the featured speaker. Along with entry to a private sit-down, catered dinner before the event, photograph and autograph opportunities are available. V.I.P. tickets are $500 per person. All lectures are free, but tickets are required. Reserve free general admission ticket at utatickets.com. General admission tickets are limited to two per person.
