The Arlington Museum of Art's upcoming Eat Your Art Out fundraising event will offer guests a chance to see and taste artistically crafted desserts that are a sweet treat for both the eyes and the palate.

Tickets are on sale now for the 7 p.m. February 18, 2017 event at the Arlington Museum of Art, located at 201 W. Main Street in downtown.

Eat Your Art Out will feature the creative works of several individual bakers, restaurants and bakeries from across North Texas, including The London Baker in Fort Worth, which competed on Food Network's Cake Wars last year.

"I first started cake decorating when I was 21 and I fell head over heels. Here I am 11 years later and I am still falling hard. I love seeing the reaction people have when I go above and beyond their expectations. I get to make someone's day and put a smile on their face," said Elizabeth Rowe of The London Baker.

Other participants include Lindsey Dewey, Stephen's Sweets Sensations, Whole Foods Bakery, Marquez Bakery,Frosted Art and TCC Culinary Arts.

Chris Hightower, the museum's Executive Director, said Eat Your Art Out is perfect for anyone who loves the arts as well as Food Network's Cake Wars.

Tickets for the museum fundraiser are $100 each and can be purchased here.

Bakers can still sign up to participate by contacting the museum at [email protected] or by calling at 817-275-4600.
