Arlington to Host 5th Annual Bass Tournament

The City of Arlington Parks and Recreation Department will host the 5th annual Arlington Bass Classic at Lake Arlington on April 8, 2017.

The tournament start time is 7 a.m. with angler check-in beginning at 5:30 a.m. at the Lake Office in Richard Simpson Park. The Bass Classic will end at 3 p.m. Registration is $60 per team (1 or 2 people). Entry fee is $50 if one team member is age 17 or under. One boat per team. Top five places paid for biggest stringer. Optional Big Bass side pot entry is $10 per fisherman (winner takes all).

The 2017 Arlington Bass Classic will be limited to the first 60 teams that pre-register. To ensure your spot, you MUST be pre-registered for the event. No walk-up entries will be accepted on the day of the event, unless the event has not reached capacity. If a registered team drops out or no shows, we will fill their spot with a team from the waiting list in the order in which registrations were received.

Register before March 1 and your team will be entered in a drawing for a $50 sporting goods gift card! Grand prizes valued at over $25,000. The top five (10) places for big stringer will be paid with Visa gift cards. Not too confident in your fishing ability? Teams who finish outside the top 10 will be placed in a random drawing for a $50 sporting goods gift card at conclusion of tournament!
