Pablo Picasso: Ceramics Exhibit at Arlington Museum of Art - LAST WEEKEND

The Arlington Museum of Art in Downtown proudly announces its winter blockbuster exhibit, Pablo Picasso: Ceramics, featuring more than 40 ceramics by renowned artist Pablo Picasso. The exhibit will be on display from November 12, 2016 through February 12, 2017. An opening reception for exhibit sponsors, museum members, and special guests will be held Friday, November 11, 2016 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. For more information, visit ArlingtonMuseum.org. Ricky Skaggs & Kentucky Thunder at Arlington Music Hall

A life full of music. That's the story of Ricky Skaggs. Ricky struck his first chords on a mandolin over 50 years ago, and this 14-time Grammy Award winner continues to do his part to lead the recent roots revival in music. Ricky Skaggs and Kentucky Thunder will hit the Arlington Music Hall stage at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, February 10, 2017 in Downtown. Shoji Tabuchi - Live from Branson, Missouri

Not just relegated to country music, Shoji Tabuchi's show incorporates a wide variety of stage settings, music styles, beautiful costumes and incredible musicianship. The show will take you on a journey from classical to country music, delight you with a multi-million dollar production, and leave you thoroughly entertained throughout the course of your time in the audience. Spring Shows at UTA Planetarium

UTA Planetarium has announced its spring schedule of shows through May 28, 2017. This lineup includes Phantom of the Universe, a new planetarium show that unveils scientists' efforts to explore Dark Matter. The show focuses on the Large Hadron Collider, the gigantic underground particle detector which is being used to explore the inner workings of the matter. Dark Matter is invisible and we only know of its existence due to its gravitational effect. It is believed that 85 percent of the matter in the universe is Dark Matter.
